~ Happy New Year ~

Photobucket
:::waving::: Hi folks!  I know I haven't been around much and entries by me have been few and far between.  That is with the exception of a tag offer here and there.   Just not into the blog thing right now I guess.  I think it's because I have a hard time sitting here and I am sick of having the 'poor me attitude' and complaining about the aches and pains.   I am doing good and will be doing some rehab on a regular basis.  Need to get my muscles back into use.   Speaking of.... we went out for dinner this evening and stopped at my nieces after.  What a hoot!  The kids got Wii for Christmas and we went to town.  The 'fit' game is a riot and let me tell you it is a work out.  I think I'm going to look into getting that game.  LMAO  won't need a gym membership :)
I will also be going back to work on Jan 5.  I will start out by working from home, and then gradually get into going into the office.  I can drive and have a few times.  It felt odd but no fear of the actual driving.  More of the snow and getting stuck or something.   Walking is not an option right now.  Not any distance anyway.  I do go back to the vascular doc on the 6th and I'm hoping he can give me something for the discomfort in my foot.  The blood thinner has helped a bit but I definitely still have some major issues.
I didn't do any tag requests for the holiday, but feel free to snag these.  All I ask is that they not be altered, resized, or claimed as your own.
'Nuff about me.. I am good.  Promise.  I did want to wish you all a very Happy New Year.  May 2009 bring good things to all of us.  Health, wealth, and love.  I do hope whatever you did to celebrate was all that you hoped for.
Happy New Year!!!

Wishing you much happiness and good health in 2009
We got my son a wii for Christmas and have been having a great time.. But something we learned a few short hrs after playing. My eight yr old didn't have the remote tight enough on his wrist.. Well needless to say our 48 inch big screen doesn't look as good with the cracks in it!!! LOL :0) he not only broke the protective screen but the screen under that one. We had a very quite Christmas dinner.

It sounds like you had a good new years eve ~ dinner out and then fun with the family! All I got to do was work later then usual at work covering for sick staff! Lol! Have a wonderful, happy and healthy new year! Jeannette xx

Love the tags, especially the first one.

I'm glad that you got out for a New year's dinner and are slowly getting everything back to normal such as being able to drive. The fact that you can work from home is wonderful!

Hopefully you'll be up walking around and enjoying life a.s.a.p! If not, you come over here and talk about it! Don't feel like your entries are too depressing. If anyone has it in their brains, while their reading your journal, that life is supposed to be sun shiny days and pretty little ponies, they're lying to their selves.

Happy New Year!

*M*

Happy New Year D! I was wondering how you were doing. I never heard a "poor me" from you. It's been a long time since you've had "normal life". Besides being home all the time has a tendency to make one feel "stagnant". It took me yrs to accept that this was my new "normal".

hugs sweetie....

So glad to hear you are feeling a little better...enough to be driving a little and to start working a little at a time...have missed you tons...but I understand a need for a break from online sometimes...I have heard so much about Wii and Wii fit...I think we might eventually get it as well...anything to help me get these unwanted pounds off..and to be having fun while doing it is a plus!

Wishing you all the best in 2009!

Wishing you a happy, healthy 2009. I am glad to hear you are doing a bit better. We got Wii fit a few months ago and you are right, it is a workout. Mom & I went through it for hours and neither of us could move the next day!!! It is a different kind of workout than I am used to that is for sure. Take good care and take it easy and get yourself well.

Lisa said...

Wishing you a wonderful 2009 and a full recovery. Glad you are doing better but taking it slow with going back to work. Good idea to start at home first and gradually work your way towards the office. I work from home also and it is easy to set the pace and rest when you need it.

Happy New Year to you also, Donna. Thank you bunches for the tag - hope to use it again when we get more snow. Right now it is raining and washing most of the snow away that we accumulated in December. Take your sweet time getting back to normal. Your faithful readers will understand. You need rest, and time to heal. We'll be here for you. (((HUGGIES)))
