~ Tired ~

Photobucket

First, let me say my nose surgery on Wed. went well.  I have a follow up on Tuesday and I hope at that time he will remove the tubes in my nostrils and the sinus pressure will be releaved.  My ribs feel good.  My arm... :::sigh::: not so great.  I can finally see my knuckles as the swelling there has gone down.  My forearm is still a bit puffy and black and blue.  I will be in the air cast for a few more weeks, and I know it's better then having surgery and a plate put in, but this sucks.  My arm has no mobility and I have a few sores from the pressure points and the little rubbing which cannot be helped.  I called the Dr. with my concerns but so far status qou.  The cast stays on.  Working one handed sucks big time!  My new employer has been great.  Virtually no questions asked, and I go back tomorrow.

BUT.... I'm tired!

Tired of putting on the happy face........
of having folks tell me how strong I am when I'm a whimp and tired of it all.

Tired of having to have constant help
washing my hair.... taking a shower...
Thank God I can wipe my own ass!!!

I'm tired of being sick
of being tired

For the past 10 months my life has drastically changed and been in turmoil.  I finally had things going my way... and poof.  WTF!?!?   Can I get back to my old life now????

I know folks have it worse... I feel bad for whining... for feeling sorry for myself....

BUT DAMN IT....I'M TIRED!!!

Thinking about you, dear friend. I know exactly how you feel with the one arm thingie, as I survived surgery when I broke my right arm and have the metal plate and scars to prove it. Things will definitely get better, as time goes. I will say extra prayers for you, hon.

Hard to get around the 'don't feel bad ...' because you shouldn't. But I am sure you know that already.

Hockey season is nearly upon us ... and I sorta think that the Wings are going to age this year. But even with that, I don't think that Pittsburgh is going to repeat ...

I think you have every reason to whine Donna! Thank God the surgery is over, now you can start the recovery process. It'll take a while for your arm to heal but while you're healing let others help you. People love to feel needed and I'm sure the help they give is given willingly! I'm so glad your new employer is so reasonable. Your bad luck must surely be over now, it must be somebody elses turn!! Jeannette xxxx

And you know what? That's okay! You're allowed to feel that way and even voice it to your friends and family.

It'll make ya feel better. :)

I'm glad your surgery went well...and I'm sorry to hear about your arm.

I'm thrilled to hear your employer has been great about the whole situation...that must be a huge relief.

Big hugs, D.

XOXO

Shit, YOU? WHINING?

Listen my friend...YOU have been thru more this year than anyone i know and i mean that. You are a warrior, a survivor. I wish i had the answer as to why this had to happen after everything else....and i am sorry it did....but you will heal and you will continue to fight the good fight and be strong. Come here and talk all you want...no one thinks you are whining. I love you to pieces. I wondered if you were able to work....i am going to pray this all heals fast and soon enough you need no help. I am always thinking of you.

Donna you have had a rough year...you can whine, bitch, moan as much as you like...I know I sure as hell would be..I am a big baby when I am hurt. I am glad the surgery went well...I can't imagine having to do everything one handed and needing help to wash your hair and stuff...I know that HAS to be hard...but I also know your family would do anything for you...and friends as well! Glad your employer is being good to you throughout this situation...that says alot! Take it easy...hope you were able to get some rest this weekend!

Love ya!

Hey D!!! I'm playing catch up. Sorry about your accident. I was trying to see what tags I've missed. I have a question, I've forgotten your rules. If there is a tag that I like, may I use it on my journal or no? I will re-direct to your journal. Just wanted to check love the Sunday entry tag and that's why I'm asking. It's Oct. so, I'm sure you are feeling a lot better!!
