~ Photo Challenge~

Ok, here is the deal.  I am really trying to get back into blogger..  I've even made a couple tags.  LOL  Not ready to do the offers ... not sure I ever will.  Sitting at my computer doing them every night got old.  Very old!   Anyway... this is about the Photo Challenge.  I've been horrible with it!  I love to take the pictures but just haven't been around enough,..   Still thinking new camera and hope to do it soon!  Trip to Dallas first... Whuuu huuuuuu

Sooooo  I decided to enter something.  No idea what I wanted.. just know I love the way it came out.  Small Boat Harbor...  

~ Community Photo Challenge - The Colors of Autumn ~

Our challenge this month is "The Colors of Autumn"

Be creative if you do not have the typical autumn that New Yorkers have. We will be giving you a FULL month to find some AUTUMN images. Have fun. Post your photos on your blog, go here & leave your link.
The Challenge starts today (Oct. 15) & ends on Nov. 15th. The each challenge will be posted on the 15th of every month.

::waving::  I'm thrilled the photo challenge has started back up.  I'm only saddened that I have not been able to get pictures.  I've cheated a bit, this is from last year.  You may or may not know, but I fell back in Sept.  I broke my nose and cut it wide open.  I broke ribs, and I broke my humurous bone.  Trust me nothing humurous about it.  I'm ok and healing each day but my arm is still in the brace and I can't lift my left arm, so I can't hold my camera.  Damn it!  I didn't want to miss out on this challenge so I went into my archives.

~ Community Photo Challenge - Photo Story ~

We will be doing Photo Story Challenge next. It is a small group of 3-5 images that either tell a story or relate to each other.

Examples-
1. A newborn baby, a shot of him or her arriving home, a few close ups like baby booties..bottles...
2. Vacation trip- could be any shots that relate to each other.
3. Wedding-bride & groom, closeup of flowers with rings, a church/alter shot
 
 

I think the 'story' is pretty obvious.  I thought about the wedding shots from last Oct., but I wanted something fresh, new, and springy.  Our front garden is all wild flowers and with the nicer weather and all the rain it was pretty easy to get all these in a matter of minutes.  I think it fits the bill :)

~ Community Photo Challenge- Tranquility ~

Normally I would do a beach shot, but since I didn't look at the future topics I already posted some and didn't want to repeat.  This is actually a shot I took coming home from my parents.  It's at a golf course and the park bench amongst the beautiful flowered trees caught my eye.  I think it fits for 'tranquility', how 'bout you? 

~ Community Photo Challenge - The Great Outdoors ~

::waving:: Hello! Yeap it's me again. Some of you might have read on my facebook that I was going for a ride with my camera. I did just that! I was hoping to get a few shots for the Community Photo Challenge this week. Check out other folks taking part. Don't forget to put the main page in your favorites or on google reader so you can see the updates, and future challenges. It's fun and I would hope everyone would take a picture and show it off. It's fun.. and just for fun :)

I did take several photo's and had one of an old barn that I loved. I thought about that one for this but then found someone else had done an old barn too and I wanted to keep it different. I've been playing with photo edge masks as you've no doubt seen in the past few photos I put up. I really like the look it gives. Too much? Anyway.. here is my Great Outdoor shot and I DO hope you will all consider joining in.

This weeks photo challenge is birdhouses. I decided to play along with a photo I took at my sisters over the summer. I hope folks will consider getting involved again. It seems very few are playing along or giving their opinions on the final choices. 'Cmon folks I know there are a ton of you out there... play along. It's not for a million dollars... it's for fun and a way to get your blog some exposure... nothing more nothing less.

Good Morning!  I'm doing two entries in one for the Photo Challenge.   It's been awhile since there has been a vote/poll on the entries (or is it I just missed them?)  Either way the FOOD Challenge poll is now up.  Stop by and select what you think is the best or your favorite.  Only one vote per person.  Once you vote think about joining in the fun if you haven't already.  It's a great way to get photo ideas, meet new folks, and gain new readers.



The Alpha Challenge will be going on for a bit.  The idea is to either get photo's that resemble a letter or do one with your name.  I am pretty limited on getting out to take shots these days so I decided to do my name.  I loved this challenge and only wish I had more mobility.  Maybe in a few weeks..... until then.   Grab your camera and start shooting this is an awesome Challenge.  Read about the thoughts, ideas and rules behind this challenge by clicking on the link. 

~ Blogger's Community Photo Challenge- FOOD ~

We have a few Challenges still going on, but our bi-weekly challenge starts today & ends on Thursday Jan. 29 @ 9 PM EST. Our Poll will begin on Friday, Jan. 30th.

This week's Challenge is FOOD! So you may cook, bake, or just take an interesting shot of anything that we eat. Can be growing on a plant, can be placed on a decorative plate, as a still life image..... Can be just fruit in a dish. Try to be creative, make sure you have plenty of light, & again keep a steady hand when snapping the shutter....
 

LOL, so Marie you must have read my mind.  I was cleaning fruit to nibble on as snacks and thought these berries looked great.  So snap away I did.  I was going to use it in my last entry 'Berry' but then saw the challenge... sooooooooooooooooooooo here it is.

I hope everyone will stop by the challenge to see the other entries and watch for the vote/poll and pick your favorite.  By all means join in.. the more the merrier!!
