~ Take Your Camera! ~

Photobucket
You never know what you might find or see.  You could be driving down the street minding your own business and see outhouses on the side of the road.  Yes, as you see I said outhouses!  Matching ones to boot.  Ma and Pa won't be fighting over the powder room.  That has more to do with the sinks doesn't it?  I may live in the 'burbs but I sure as hell don't live in redneck country.  ::grin::
I did actually see several more on the front lawn for sale no less.  Hmmm nice lawn decoration eh?

You may be driving along and see a nice water fall tucked off the road.  Fallen trees and brick type retaining walls.  A different take on water, but unique and interesting none the less, don't you think?

You may be sitting on the front porch on a nice warm, sunny day with a cool drink and have the sun casts shadows right in front of you.
I've often gotten comments about the pictures I take.  Honestly when you look at it, it's nothing special.  I am far from an expert on the subject.  I carry my camera and shoot.  Sometimes I head out with an idea in my head or an area I want to go to.  Sometimes I just drive and see if I stumble on to something.  Sometimes I hear the honk from the car behind me as they are impatient with what I'm doing.  Do I pop them bird?  Naah I usually just pull over and let them go by.
Video is good.  Birds in flight, the babbling of a stream, or me walking to the wrong car in the parking lot and jumping 3 feet when someone gets out as I go to get in.  Yeap, oblivious!  LOL  That happened to me today when I went shopping for a few things.
All is good on this end.  I am looking forward to going back to work on Tuesday.  No I won't over do it, promise!  Then I think again and imagine getting my full pay and being off for the summer.  Now that I'm up and at 'em it wouldn't be so bad.  Sitting by the pool?  Ohhh yeahhh... sounds nice but not realistic.  Hi Ho Hi Ho it's off to work I go.
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.  I know Brit is with win number one for the Bruins :)
Hugs

Totally with you on this one.
I often take my camera along and sometimes have people looking at me weird when I'm shooting what they think is Nonsense!

Wait until you get the Rebel! GREAT CAMERA! It's my baby!

I think you pictures capture a touch of Americana, which is why I think so many people like them.

Life, as we wish it were, you know?

Love the outhouses, Donna!! Having had some experience with outhouses in the VERY distant past, these are what my grandparents would have called first class!! LOL And the waterfall is gorgeous ... I can almost hear it. Lovely spot :)

It's nice to hear that you're feeling well enough to head back to work ... but I'm sorry you can't take the summer off with pay. LOL Take care ... I pray for you each day.

Peace~
